Following on from the success of previous trips we have lots more herpetological / wildlife expeditions planned. Whether you wish to look for King Cobras in the Indian Jungle, go croc spotting by torchlight on the river, or snorkel in search of sea snakes – we have a number of expeditions planned throughout 2009 and 2010 throughout India, the Andaman Islands, and Sri Lanka. Through continued collaboration with researchers in the field and expert herpetologists we are able to devise truly once in a lifetime field expeditions which positively benefit wider conservation efforts.

We also have a unique opportunity for people to join a scientific survey in 2010 with some of the worlds finest herpetologists and naturalists - Romulus Whitaker, Sandesh Kadur and Gerry Martin on an expedition in search of new reptile and amphibian species in Arunachal Pradesh. The region is the most easterly of Indian states and borders Burma, Bhutan and China and is a hotspot of biodiversity with many new species waiting to be discovered – where only recently a new species of pit viper was discovered.
This is a one off opportunity and promises to be a very special and exciting expediton, for more information about this trip and others please contact paul on 0208 347 40 20. Mob: 078886 99537. Email paul@partnershiptravel.co.uk & pgs_22@hotmail.com
