Snake with a foot found in China

I saw this posted up on facebook. Apparently it was a snake caught by a lady in china and was using its 'foot' to climb up a wall in her house:



Chinese scientists are now conducting studies on the animal, but surely its pretty obvious that the 'foot' is from a lizard that the snake has eaten, which has protruded out the side of the snake?! You can see a large swelling ion the body where the snake has obviosuly eaten something....

That's a really funny photo Tom thanks for posting. The Snake looks like it's having a pretty bad time though.
